Around The World in 80 Days DTS (ATWDTS)

Course Description

IDS 701/702 

Travel around the world in this once in a lifetime experience. You will begin the journey learning about God and His character within a community setting and then, after nine weeks, take what you have learned to the nations, literally. We will leave from Denver, jumping from country to country, and clocking up approximately 30,000 miles, will have traveled around the entire circumference of Earth.

During the lecture phase, you will be immersed in a program that will offer you classroom teaching times, small group interaction and weekly outreaches. You will also have ample free time for fellowship, personal study time and the opportunity to let it all soak in.

Once the twelve weeks of your lecture phase is complete, you will move onto the second part of DTS. During this second phase, you will take what you have learned and put it into practice, applying it on the mission field*.

Come with us as we take God's expression of love to the nations. After the 80 days of outreach is complete, you will spend one final week debriefing and fellowshipping back in Denver. After you finish both the lecture phase and the outreach phase you will graduate from DTS.

*Outreach locations will be presented in the first week of your DTS.

Cost

$9500.00 USD total  for the entire 20 weeks. 

This cost includes:

• In Denver: tuition, food, and housing. 
• Around the world: airfare, visas, landing fees, immunizations, meals, housing, travel fee and additional outreach costs. 

There is an additional cost for books, personal care and laundry money, extra activities, souvernirs and personal snacks. Book fees will be range from $40-$55 dollars. Your tuition is due upon arrival. Keep in mind that the tuition for the Around the world in 80 days DTS is not tax-deductible.
