Camp the Rockies DTS (CTRDTS)

Course Description

IDS 701/702

Do you love camping, hiking and adventure? We do too! That's why we've designed this one of kind DTS to take advantage of the thousands of acres of rugged mountain terrain sitting on our doorstep. Students who attend the Camp the Rockies DTS will enjoy the content of a regular DTS melded with a true Rocky Mountain outdoor adventure.

During the lecture phase, you will be immersed in a program that will offer you classroom teaching times, small group interaction and weekly outreaches. You will also have ample free time for fellowship, personal study time and the opportunity to let it all soak in.

Once the twelve weeks of your lecture phase is complete, you will move on to the second part of DTS. During this second phase, you will take what you have learned and put it into practice, applying it on the mission field*. The bulk of your outreach is spent at an international location and the final week is set aside for debriefing back in Denver. After you finish both the lecture phase and the outreach phase you will graduate from DTS.

*Outreach locations and prices will vary and be presented in the first week of your DTS.
